Refund & Returns Policy

1. What we provide

SiteHub provides a digital service: we design, build and host websites for South African businesses. Payments (a once-off setup fee and an ongoing hosting/subscription fee) are processed securely through PayFast. Because our product is a custom digital service rather than a physical good, this policy explains when refunds and cancellations apply.

2. Setup fees

• You may request a full refund of the setup fee before we begin building your site (before your first preview is generated).
• Once work has started, the setup fee covers time and resources already spent. Where a site has been built and made available for preview, the setup fee is generally non-refundable, though we will always try to put things right first (see section 4).

3. Hosting & subscription fees

• You may cancel your hosting/subscription at any time; it will not renew for the next period.
• Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable once the period has started, as the hosting and services have been made available to you for that period.
• If we cancel or cannot provide the service, we will refund any unused, pre-paid period.

4. If something is wrong

If your site was not delivered as agreed, contains a defect that is our fault, or a payment was taken in error, contact us within 7 days and we will investigate. Our first step is always to fix the issue. Where we cannot reasonably resolve it, we will agree a fair refund of the affected portion.

5. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (which provides a cooling-off period for certain electronic transactions, subject to its exceptions for services already begun or completed with your consent).

6. How to request a refund or cancellation

Email info@sitehub.co.za or call 021 140 3736 with your account details and reason. We aim to respond within 2 business days, and approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method (via PayFast) within 10 business days.
